Profil wound piping technology

Our company always played a leading role in cutting-edge plastic construction technology. One of these innovations is the development, design and construction of storage tanks for chemicals by using a profil wound pipe. The basic part of the system is a specially designed double wall profile.

A continuous hollow system makes it possible to provide a leakage detection system. The pipe joint is connected to the hollow chambers with the help of drilled channels.

The wall thickness of the tanks can be produced graded - that means the wall of the part below is thicker than the upper part of the tank (hydrostatic pressure).

Those double wall tank systems provide broad chemical resistance at a comparably low cost, especially in corrosive and oxidising chemical services and combines an extremely rigid structure.

Teblick was also the first to build those tanks according to international standards and regulations. Those double containment tanks are Vlarem approved.
